I am a Hudson Valley Wedding Photographer. This year was a break through year in that 90 percent of my wedding were located in the Hudson Valley. The photos below are my most favorites from 2017.
I just love this photo from Kelly and Daniel’s wedding at The Garrison Wedding. It’s clean, simple, graphic, whimsical and environmental. It just makes me happy. Ha! The bride got lipstick on her cheek! This Hudson Valley Elopement in my town of Cold Spring was so much fun. I love this candid shot. Check out the full blog here: http://christineashburnweddings.com/2018/01/02/hudson-valley-wedding-photographer-cold-spring-ny-elopement/
I loved so many of the photos from this engagement shoot but the movement in this one is lovely. You can see the full blog post here: http://christineashburnweddings.com/2017/08/16/stone-barns-rockefeller-preserve-engagement-session-fatima-michael/
I loved this bride and her face!! Simply gorgeous and the light nothing fancy – just a window in a bland hotel room! You can see the full blog post here: http://christineashburnweddings.com/2017/04/25/megan-patricks-hudson-valley-wedding-st-philips-church-garrison-ny/
These two were the sweetest. I love this candid black and white. View Full Blog post here: http://christineashburnweddings.com/2017/07/13/kingston-ny-wedding-photography-the-chateau/
Window light – again and again it is my favorite light. Look at the bright whites and deep shadows. The Poughkeepsie Train station has some gorgeous light.
This picture is just so satisfying to me- the way it shows the scene and the playful glance from the bride. See the full blog post here: http://christineashburnweddings.com/2018/01/02/hudson-valley-wedding-photographer-cold-spring-ny-elopement/
I will welcome any opportunity to photograph at the Poughkeepsie Train Station. It does not have to rain to force us there! See the full blog here: http://christineashburnweddings.com/2017/06/08/kelly-cj-hudson-valley-wedding-poughkeepsie-grandview/
I love the candidness and the way the bride is looking delicately down. You can see the full blog here: http://christineashburnweddings.com/2018/01/14/hudson-valley-wedding-photography-at-the-garrison-garrison-ny-kelly-and-daniel/
I loved this couple and this picture of the bride. It is a window lit portrait and my most favorite light to capture portraits. I love the shadows and her expression.
Window light again. This image is especially important to me as I took my very first portrait in this exact spot many years ago.
Do you see all the “hearts” in this photo? Sheesh. See the full blog post here: http://christineashburnweddings.com/2017/06/21/connecticut-farm-wedding-shannon-nate/
The setting at the Cold Spring landing and the deepness of the black and white here make me want to stare at this elopement photo for hours.
The window light at the Highlands Country Club is amazing. I love the shadows.
