I’m Christine Ashburn, a Hudson Valley wedding photographer based in Cold Spring, New York. My style blends natural, documentary wedding photography with creative portraits shaped by beautiful light. I photograph the genuine moments and emotions of your day as they unfold, offering calm, gentle direction when it is helpful. Nothing rigid. Nothing forced.
For more than thirteen years, I have photographed weddings, intimate celebrations and elopements throughout the Hudson Valley, Catskills, Westchester and Upstate New York. My goal is to create artistic, emotionally honest photographs while allowing you to stay present with the people you love and fully experience your wedding day.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Accentuating soul, joy, and passion with beautiful light is what makes me giddy. I want my photos to do more than document what you see – I want them to bring you right back to how you felt in that moment.
I’m a Hudson Valley wedding photographer based in the bucolic river town of Cold Spring, New York. I’m also an Italian wedding photographer with dual U.S. and Italian citizenship, which allows me to work easily, legally, and joyfully in both countries and throughout the European Union. For now, I’m able to photograph weddings in Italy (and across the EU) with no travel fees.
Beyond Catskills and Hudson Valley weddings and elopements, I photograph engagements, marriage proposals, families, and editorial/commercial projects.
My work has appeared in the pages and on the covers of Edible Hudson Valley and Chronogram, and has been featured in three books: Connecting: Celebrating the People and Places of the Hudson Highlands, Raising Rabbits, and Open Days 25: A Quarter Century of America’s Gardeners and Their Gardens.
Most clients invest between $4,200 and $8,000. Elopements begin at $2000.
