Kristin and Kevin’s wedding had a lovely ease about it. This was apparent from my very first meeting with Kristin, as I felt instantly comfortable With her. Her ease is reflected back by her (now) husband when he looks at her.  There is just something about the way he looks at her.  Actually, the way they look at each other.  It is comforting and easy, as love should be.

Kristin and Kevin got married at the Chalet in Cold Spring, NY.  A ten minute drive from my home.  Super easy! They chose not to see each other before the ceremony and we kept the after-ceremony photos simple.  Rather than traveling to another location for the formal photos we stayed at The Chalet so they could quickly get to their cocktail hour. Again, nice and easy!  Kristin and Kevin also retained my services for five hours rather than a full day of wedding coverage.  Again, easy peasy for me. A full day wedding is very demanding and not always necessary. I personally have no problem booking half day versus full day wedding coverage and will gladly work closely with a bride and her timeline to make the most out of my time.

One more thing…we were swarmed by lady bugs during the ceremony at Kristin and Kevin’s October wedding.  The ladybugs were everywhere – including on both the bride and groom!  A swarm of lady bugs seemed unusual this time of year and no doubt a sign of an easy and comfortable marriage.
