A Wonderful Wedding Tablescape Idea
As a Hudson Valley wedding photographer, I obviously encounter a lot of wedding tablescapes and/or centerpieces. However, this elegant tablescape I came across when photographing a Hubbard Lodge wedding really stood out.
I love how earthy and cozy these low fresh green table runners feel. I felt compelled to reach out to the bride post-wedding to inquire about them further and I was surprised by how simple they were to make.
The bride informed me ,
“the green garland was ordered from Costco and that the votives and table number/holders came from Amazon”.
I think about this summer Hudson Valley tablescape often and recommended them to clients looking for a more earthy look.
Also as a photographer, I can really appreciate how low these tablescapes are on reception tables. I typically find taller centerpieces get in the way photographing wedding guests around a table. So much so, I often temporarily remove taller wedding centerpieces. Also, guests are not generally fans of the higher centerpieces either. Taller centerpieces limit direct sight from across the tables and impede guest interactions. With these low wedding tablescapes, this is not an issue. Honestly, these wedding tablescapes are just perfect.
