Micro weddings will always remain special for me. Of course, it’s a great way to get married for couples who just want to celebrate their big day with the ones dearest to them, but even as a wedding photographer, it’s a treat for me to play my role at these weddings.
Kristyn and Onat intimate Bull’s Head Inn wedding ceremony in Campbell, NY surrounded by their closest family members and friends. And from the couple and the dreamy venue to the elegant details and gorgeous backdrops - everything at this wedding felt so perfect. The best part was it all felt so simple and authentic. The people that were present at the wedding were truly there to support and celebrate Kristyn and Onat.
Kristyn And Onat’s Bull Hill Micro Wedding
The couple met while in college at SUNY, New Paltz, while Onat was a foreign exchange student from Turkey. The one word I could use to describe their wedding is "effortless". They planned their Bull's Head Inn wedding within months and everything seemed to fall in place for these two.
They kept their guest list small, but the love and good vibes at the wedding felt as if hundreds of people had come together to shower their love on Kristyn and Onat. Luckily, Onat's parents were able to make it from Turkey as well.
A Bull’s Head Inn wedding perfectly aligned with the couple’s personalities. Originally, an 18th-century farmhouse, even today, the inn’s architecture stands out. Although the room upstairs was busy and not set up for Kristyn to put her wedding dress on, with some minor adjustments it all seemed to fall into place. But even when there was a hiccup, Kristyn and Onat didn’t stress or panic.
Their wedding was the perfect reflection of the couple as they too were sweet and easygoing. The window light I used for Kristyn's bridal portraits was some of the prettiest I have encountered. The light in general on their wedding day was soft and easy. Not just the light, even the weather was brilliant for the outdoor ceremony the couple had planned.
The excitement the bride and groom felt for each other on their Bull's Head Inn wedding day was visible to all. There was no denying the happiness in their faces and eyes, and their portraits are proof of that. As their photographer, it also felt effortless for me to showcase Kristyn and Onat’s chemistry. The Bull's Head Inn garden had the perfect amount of space with enough foliage variety to make some sweet portraits.
We started with a large group photo of everyone at the wedding. After this, it was time for the couple's portraits. We simply went for a walk around the property, which was sweet and simple.
Kristyn and Onat wanted their Bull's Head Inn wedding day to be all about having fun with their loved ones and keeping the wedding day stress minimal, which I think they did flawlessly. After their intimate ceremony, the bride and groom, along with their guests, settled onto the porch for some dinner. Nothing complicated here, just love and joy.
