Chapel Restoration Elopement

Trying to plan a wedding during a pandemic, certainly has its ups and downs.  And these two have experienced them for sure.  Planning a wedding, then shifting it, then shifting it again is so very stressful. These two are planning on having a  larger celebration at the end of 2021, however, a small intimate Chapel Restoration elopement in the meantime was perfect. Even better that they choose Valentine’s Day as their date.

Your engagement and wedding should be some of your happiest times.  I am so sorry that COVID has marred this season for so many. I know that adjusting comes easier to some than others.  However, I have always enjoyed the saying  “Things work out best, for those who make the best of the way things work out.” This saying has always reminded me to stop and realize that the best one can do, in almost any situation, is to make the most of it. You have to find happiness wherever and wherever you can. 

I know that shifting one’s mindset to the positive is not always easy, or even always possible,  but I believe these two accomplished it.

Their winter Chapel Restoration elopement was so very sweet and emotional. 

Their heartfelt vows had me in tears behind the camera. It became very clear to me that these two have much love for each other and that their connection began the very first time they met in college. How cool is that?! Even cooler is that they both went on to become teachers!

Congratulations to these two!  Having to shift your wedding plans so much can be so bittersweet.  I am glad you did not let the bitter overcome the sweet. I am happy knowing you will be able to celebrate more largely with friends and family when it is safer.
