Be like Emilia and Anthony and embrace a winter Full Moon Resort wedding! Hope for snow!
Winter is often overlooked when couples are considering a wedding date. However, the Catskills are gorgeous in all seasons and winter is no exception. Ok, an outdoor wedding would not work in the winter but otherwise, in reality, you don’t really spend that much time outdoors on your wedding day. If you are willing to snuggle up for a little bit outdoors for some cool photos, then a winter wedding could be wonderful.
Emilia And Anthony's Winter Wedding At The Full Moon Resort
This was my first time photographing at the Full Moon Resort, a chill and welcoming venue nestled in the Catskill Mountains. The property ”features over one hundred acres of meadows, forests, and streams, a grand wedding pavilion, picturesque barn, a spectrum of lodging options for your entire group, exquisite dining, and highly professional event management. I personally loved incorporating the lantern ceiling lights in the grand wedding pavilion into Emilia and Anthony’s reception photos.
Emilia and Anthony were surrounded by love at their wedding, as family near and far gathered to celebrate their Full Moon Resort wedding! Some of the groom's family even traveled from Italy to attend the wedding, and the father toasted the couple with family-made wine. I loved how their families and friends got down on the dance floor. This wedding was a family affair to the point that the bride and groom even kept their vendors personal. The DJ was the Groom's work friend and the makeup artist was a high school friend, Emilia's uncle was the officiant, and her hair was done by her aunt, who did a fantastic job.
When Emilia let me know she was an art teacher I was very flattered that she entrusted me with her and Anthony’s wedding photos. However, when I also found out her father was a photographer, I must admit I was a wee bit nervous!
Emilia and Anthony, you two are truly blessed and loved. After photographing your engagement session, I knew that I'd love to work with you two again. And I was so happy that you felt the same way! Thank you for choosing me as your Full Moon Resort wedding photographer.
