What should you consider in your search for the perfect Catskill or Hudson Valley Airbnb wedding?
Rules and Regulations
Make sure the Hudson Valley Airbnb wedding rental you choose actually allows events and weddings. This includes checking with those listed below. Some rentals may have specific rules around noise levels, the number of guests, and other factors that could impact your wedding plans. It’s important to be upfront about your plans and to get the host’s permission before proceeding with a Catskill or Hudson Valley Airbnb wedding. Are there noise ordinances at the property that limit the allowable levels of noise in the morning and after a certain time at night? Are there parking regulations?
Amenities
- Is there a kitchen for catering?
- Are you allowed to bring professional catering in and is there a fee for that?
- Is there a suitable outdoor space for the ceremony and reception?
- What are the options in the case of foul weather?
- Are there enough bathrooms or do you need to rent a portable one?
- Is there enough parking? Most Airbnbs are in residential areas and street parking may not be an option.
- Is there lighting outside along paths so your guests can find their way without tripping? Are you allowed to provide additional lighting, if need be?
- Are there enough tables and chairs and eating utensils for your guests?
