Hudson Valley Wedding at Hardeman Orchards
Heather and Cherie originally had a large Hudson Valley wedding planned for the fall of 2020. However, like many couples they realized had to pivot due to COVID and made the hard decision to downsize their original 2020 wedding plans. They decided to keep their original September 2020 date and location. However, they decided to pare down from a traditional Hudson Valley wedding to a micro wedding at Hardeman Orchards in Red Hook, NY.
This pivot to a micro wedding at Hardeman Orchards in 2020 was a very stressful decision but in the end, I believe it was the best one for Heather and Cherie. No doubt the disappointment of having to put aside a Hudson Valley wedding you have been planning and anticipating for months is overwhelming. This is why I recommend to couples, in similar circumstances, not postpone altogether but downsize instead. Whether you choose a simple Hudson Valley elopement, minimony or micro wedding - your marriage does not have to wait.
At Heather and Cherie’s Hudson Valley wedding at Hardeman Orchards, they included only their immediate family and their wedding party. The gorgeous fall day at Hardeman Orchards provided an amazing backdrop for their emotional wedding. Both Heather and Cherie’s hearts are wide open to each other. Their connection is deep. What was most apparent to me was that Heather and Cherie are committed equally to taking care of one another - to having each other’s back, to pushing each other along and building one another up, to nourishing each other’s soul, and to raising their beautiful family - TOGETHER. It was absolutely touching to hear and see them exchange their wedding vows with their family, and friends looking on.
