Rhinebeck Engagement Photo Session with Amazing Views
This Rhinebeck engagement photo session was gorgeous and fun. Unlike the usual fast pace of a wedding day timeline, an engagement photography session often gives couples to connect in a more relaxed and unhurried way. There are no strict activity deadlines to meet nor do couples have excited guests, with their eyes set on them. Thus, giving them the opportunity of spending some quality time with each other.
If they’re a little jittery in front of the camera, this is their time to breathe easy and do a dry run before the rush of their wedding day and also establish a relationship of trust and comfort with their photographer. So, when I set out to photograph Anna & Miro’s engagement session, I just knew we were going to have a great time together. And, that’s exactly what I experienced.
What a gorgeous and dreamy sunset engagement session it was and what stunning images we created together. If John Denver’s “Sunshine on My Shoulders” had to have a tangible image, I’d definitely root for Anna & Miro’s engagement shoot! To top it off, Anna and Miro also brought their furry friend along, who gleefully graced some of the images and kept us laughing through the shoot.
Rhinebeck Engagement Photo Session
Miro is from Prague and Anna is from Hong Kong. They met in New York City and fell in love. I adore how easy their love is despite being from very different parts of the world.
It was a beautiful summer evening when we met for their Rhinebeck engagement photo session. We climbed a tall hill and upon reaching the top, we got spectacular views of the gorgeous Hudson Valley. From majestic mountains and rolling grasslands to towering trees, I had them all to photograph my couple against and create some striking engagement images. I was so thankful that the sun was out and set in glory, giving me the opportunity to capture those mesmerizing golden hues in the sky. Though I loved taking all the engagement images, the photos where the sun shone between my couple stood out for me.
We got amazing images and had lots of fun in the process. Another fun and adorable element of this shoot was my couple’s cute four-legged pal, Ruby. Ruby had so much fun chasing Anna and jumping in the tall grasses. The doggo was evidently happy and even cheerfully pulled Anna’s dress to play with her.
Lucky me as I got to also photograph Anna and Miro’s wedding this past November. I am looking forward to sharing those images too.
Anna and Miro, you two are sweet and easy to capture! I really enjoyed photographing your dreamy sunset Rhinebeck Engagement photo session. The stunning Hudson Valley views only added to my excitement, all thanks to such sublime backdrops, and helped me create all those lovely images of you two. I appreciate the efforts you two put into making this session count. From your well-coordinated attire and bringing your doggo along to deciding on such an exquisite location, everything was just perfect! I want to thank both of you for giving me the opportunity to photograph your engagement as well as your wedding. Congratulations!!! My best wishes are with you two forever.
